Prominent filmmakers, film theorists, gender theorists, and artists come together in this experimental documentary that interrogates normative notions of gender, sexuality, and performance. Shot primarily on Super 8mm film, "Masculinity/Femininity" is a document of gender de-construction.

The Blu-ray and DVD have an awesome slate of special features, including: subtitles in English and French, ten unabridged performances, an additional scene with film theorist Harry Benshoff, the theatrical trailer, and a booklet featuring the complete, unabridged script for "Masculinity/Femininity," including the written source material for James Franco and Russell Sheaffer's short film "Masculinity & Me."
